Quantum Merit Free Liner Spinning Reel
The Quantum® Merit™ Free-Liner is a bait-feeder-style saltwater spinning reel that brings premium features to live-bait fishing at an approachable price. An adjustable secondary (Free-Liner) rear drag lets fish take a bait naturally before you engage the main drag for a quick, solid hookset. The CFX200™ Carbon Fiber Extreme Drag System delivers powerful max drag with a smooth curve, while Sealoq™ 6 sealing (IPX8) keeps water, salt, and sand out of the gearbox, drag, and line roller. A lightweight graphite body and rotor with an aluminum sideplate add strength and corrosion resistance, and Quantum's Hot Sauce lubrication keeps everything running smoothly. Ideal for surf, boat, or kayak bait fishing — stripers, redfish, and more.
