Avet SXJ5.3 G2 Single Speed Lever Drag Reel
The Avet® SXJ5.3 G2 Single Speed Lever Drag Reel is a compact, lightweight casting reel from Avet's Generation 2 series, featuring a narrow (jig) spool that reduces spool mass for easy casting of lighter baits. It bridges the line-class gap between the original and Raptor series with up to 40% more drag output, built on a re-designed true one-piece 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum frame — a great choice for striped bass, blackfish, fluke, bluefish, and light offshore work.
A powerful lever-drag system with adjustable strike pre-set pairs with Avet's AveDrag dry carbon fiber drag for smooth, consistent stopping power, while precision-machined stainless steel gears run on 8 stainless steel ball bearings backed by Avet's patented silent dog-and-gear anti-reverse. Offered with or without the optional ratcheting Glide Plate and strike-stop button, in right-hand retrieve across all colors plus left-hand in silver. Proudly made in the USA.
